Art therapy - we draw an abstract intuitive self-portrait on handmade paper from Paris - this will be our entry point into the retreat.

In the evening after dinner - sound therapy on crystal bowls from Nadia Papoudina, the wonderful owner of the villa.

Let's start the morning with qigong and get ready for the day.
We'll have breakfast together, sunbathe and start creating.

In the first half of the day we will be immersed in the world of fashion illustration. In a cozy circle by the fireplace, Alena will tell you about her great passion and life’s work in our first lecture: “The profession of fashion illustrator is pleasure and money. The most high-profile collaborations, masters of the past and geniuses of our time.”

After lunch - graphics - we study pencil, ink, markers.
Let's start with a bit of calligraphy and continue with copies of works by Rene Gruau, Antonio Lopez, Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld and other artists.

For beginners, we have prepared coloring books and blanks that will definitely help you create a masterpiece, and Alena will always be there to help, answer any questions and inspire.

Lecture “How to read contemporary art” from Vera Alkhova, an art critic and founder of the “Art Spirit” community of art enthusiasts in Dubai.

Art class - Watercolor - we will try different types of watercolor - in tubes, liquid, classic, we will draw silhouettes, eyes, lips, faces and beauty.
Alena will tell and show what types of paper there are, how hot press differs from cold press, educational paper from professional museum quality paper.

On this day, get ready for abundance of color and shape, and tactile ecstasy, because watercolor paper is real magic.

Free workshops - by this point, each of the participants will already understand what material they want to try and what story they want to delve into, so this day will be in the format of individual work on a topic that you choose together with Alena, from the heart.

Perhaps someone will just want to relax by the pool - and that’s great too, because we’re all going to Italy for #dolcefarniente. If you are planning a photo shoot or portrait session with Alena, this is the perfect time for it.

On this day we say nothing more, because most likely it will end with intimate conversations by the fireplace over a glass of wine.

After lunch, we will immerse ourselves in the world of colors and paint masks prepared especially for us by the Venice studio, which created the masks for the film “Eyes Wide Shut” by Stanley Kubrick.

Inspired by color, form and scale, we move into an open studio where we can try our brushes on a large format. We will have a choice of paper or canvas. Together with Alena we will try to go beyond the standard sheet and let go of our imagination.

In the evening we will look at everything we have done this week and arrange an auction, where we will introduce ourselves as real artists, talk about the concept, and also try to sell our work.
